Yusak O. Susilo currently is the Chair and BMK (Austrian Federal Ministry) Endowed Professor in Digitalisation and Automation in Transport and Mobility System at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria, and is also the head of Austrian Federal Ministry's endowed research group, DAVeMoS.
At KTH he was attached to the Integrated Transport Research Lab at the the School of Industrial Engineering and Management. Until end of September 2019, he was Full Professor in Transport Analysis and Policy. He was the director of doctoral study in transport science and was the acting/interim head master of EIT Urban Mobility Master School across multiple European institutions.
His main research interest lies in the intersection between transport and urban planning, transport policy, decision making processes and behavioural interactions modelling. In particular he is interested with the individual's decision making processes and the interaction of such mechanisms with changes in activity locations, urban form, policies, environments and technology characteristics.
He is the secretary of the International Association for Travel Behaviour Research (IATBR), associate editor of Transportation, Journal of Transport and Health and Asian Transport Studies, and editorial board member of Transportation Research part A, Transport Review, Sustainability, and Journal of Transport Geography. Until 2022, he was the associate editor of European Transport Research Review.
In the last 10 years, he has published 20 book chapters, more than 140 peer-reviewed conference articles, and more than 100 Web-of-Science articles. His international journal publications can be seen via scopus or researcherID or orcid or research gate or google scholar databases.
