General information for the students to join the course
This course involves active discussions therefore I try to keep the students number to about 20 in each edition of the course. Given that there are more than 20 students joining the Phd program, we offer this course twice a year in P2 and P4.
So you will receive information in P1 and P3 about joining the course (that will involve filling a short form).
We prefer students who have already had some research experience e.g. have published a paper or have been in the PhD program for at least a year. With this experience you will have a better perspective on the topics we cover in the course. So unless there are some exceptional circumstances I discourage students from first year from applying.
