7 minute presentation (e.g. ppt or prezi) summarizing the work of the week and status of project. Your presentation should contain:

• main learnings from museum visits and other sources of information 
• related work

• 3 different sketch ideas

The critique session is for sharing ideas and getting feedback, so try and be as specific as you can about what you want feedback on.

Provide feedback to your sounding board group:

What did you find most interesting in their presentation? What do you find most promising in their work overall, from what you saw so far?
What would you focus on next if you were them?

Be as friendly and helpful as you can. 

Preparations
Read the below two papers, and bring your reflections (questions, interesting points, relation to own project, etc) on a piece of paper (max 1 A4) to the seminar.

Prepare a 10 minute pitch presentation, to emphasise the main qualities and benefits of your suggested solution. What is your content/focus? Scenario of interaction? What types of technology would you use? 

Motivate in relation to
- what you learnt at the museum visit
- a selected target audience group among the museum visitors
- other alternative ideas that you have had
- what you think would be an important complement or support to the current exhibition, and why

Knowing your materials is central to any design work. But what are the materials of interaction design? What types of 'materials' are there? What is special about the materials of interaction design, compared to e.g. furniture design?

Bring your thoughts on these questions.

At this point the design should feel "mature", with concept, content, and interactive gestalt presented in a form that we all can understand and give feedback on.

- Design proposal: in the form of mockup (showing visual design/form), (partially) functioning prototype, or video
- User feedback on design proposal
- Plan for what to focus on and what you need advice on for the final week of the project

This session we will introduce and discuss the requirements for online presentations in personal portfolios, the fifth project in this course.

Think about:

What is an online portfolio in interaction design?

Why would you want one? 

What does a good online portfolio contain? Good examples?

What could be the dangers or risks with having an online portfolio?

Is there anything that it should not contain?

What different ways could an online portfolio be designed? Different structures? Designs? Styles? Technologies and tools to use? Examples?

10 minute presentation.

• Present a final design proposal that in a thoughtful way takes all the requirements and questions from the brief and feedback during the design crits into consideration.
• Present an online documentation of your final design, highlighting important design decisions with pointers to the research made throughout the design process.

Guest presentation by Patrik Högberg, founder of several large online community websites in Sweden, including brölloptorget & familjeliv.

Goal of week 1:
- To learn about different kinds of business models from a perspective of interaction design
- Discuss how business models affects the interaction and interaction design 
- And how interaction design may shape the suitable business models 
- Define a design project to work on for next 4 weeks!

- Bring two ideas (per person) for projects you believe in:
 --- If you have problems coming up with ideas: use brainstorm, random words, make use of your experience!
 --- Assess your ideas by: checking similar solutions, asking around, 6 thinking hats, sketching, read product reviews, and thinking about what you really really like 
- Bring two examples of existing or novel business models that may be interesting for your design ideas (per group)

Present business model, target customers, initial mood boards --> for two project ideas

För detta vill vi att ni förbereder er, främst genom att titta på vad som redan finns och därigenom fundera på hur era idéer kan passa på den existerande marknaden och vilka konkurrenterna är!

- Interaction scenario(s)
- Visual identity, logo etc
- Prototype, showing flow of interaction
