Trip schedule:

This is a preliminary trip schedule, and is subject to major changes. The final schedule will be published once we know the exact number of participants and the schedule for the company visits is fixed.¶

Sunday, Nov 22nd0th:

18:30: We meet at Hamburg main station, lane 3 (S-Bahn) and take the train to Bremen together. 21.00: Check in at Hostel Bremen. Those who come to Bremen directly, please make sure you check in before 21:00h.

Monday, Nov 23rd1st:

08.45: We leave the hostel and take the bus to Bremerhaven, where we will spend the whole day.10.00 - 126.00 : Senvion (formerly Repower). Visit of the production hall for offshore wind turbines.12.00 - 13.30: Lunch (there will be some restaurants and shopping malls).13.30 - 15.00: Visit some nearby wind power sites.15.00 - 16.00: Visit Fraunhofer-Institut for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology IWESVisit of one or more facilities16.30: Leaving back to Bremen.

Tuesday, Nov 24th2nd:

07.00: Departure in bus to Enercon facilities in Westerholt (see map). 09.00 - 10.30: Presentations of the company, sales and grid integration. 10.30 - 13.00: Factory tour. 13.00 - 14.00: Lunch. 14.30 - 16.00: Visit of the E-66 (or E-126) wind turbine. 18.00: Leaving to the train station in Bremen to take the train to Hamburg. 20.00: Check in at Hostel Hamburg.

Wednesday, Nov 25th3rd:

07.00: Breakfast in Hostel Hamburg and individual departure.

Note that:

* Students should pay for the trip to Hamburg or Bremen and be there on time.
* Students should have insurance and valid visa.
* The hostel in Bremen will provide breakfast. Lunch on Tuesday will be provided by Enercon.
* Students should inform the teachering assistants in case they are delayed.
