About ASST
The ASST symposium series is a unique and key event on aluminium science and technology bringing together universities, research institutions and industries involved with aluminium.
This is the 9th Aluminium Surface Science and Technology Symposium following the previous editions at 2018 (Helsingor, Denmark), 2015 (Madeira, Portugal), 2012 (Sorrento, Italy), 2009 (Leiden, The Netherlands), 2006 (Beaune, France), 2003 (Bonn, Germany), 2000 (Mancherster, UK), 1997 (Antwerp, Belgium).
Today the ASST symposium has become a common platform and network for aluminium surface science and tecnology, not only in Europe, but in the whole world. The symposium has been paused for two years due to the Covid padenmic, but now it is back to its physical form with easy contacts, discussions, and networking opportunities.
