Get your KTH adventure started with the Arrival Days!

Hello everybody and welcome to this new post! Today, we are going to talk about what will happen at KTH during August: the 2023 Arrival Days and International Reception!

When will the Arrival Days be?

The Arrival Days 2023 will take place on August 19 and 20, but a lot of activities will take place at KTH throughout the entire months of August and September!

What will happen during the Arrival Days?

The Arrival Days are the best possible time in which you can choose to arrive in Stockholm. Indeed, the entire campus will be ready and set up to welcome you, starting from a hourly free transfer from Arlanda Airport to KTH Main Campus, where most of the activities will take place. KTH is very committed to sustainability, and this is one of the way you can make you arrival at KTH more sustainable! The entire campus will be filled up with stands where you can move your first steps towards becoming a KTH student: you will be able to pick up keys for your accommodation (if you have it through KTH), ask questions to students and volunteers, activate your KTH IT account, and more! Are there any more happenings in August?

Of course yes! THS, KTH Student Union, will organise events, parties, trips and games throughout all August and part of September. This is part of the THS International Reception, which is THS’ way to welcome you to KTH and Stockholm. I highly recommend you to participate in their events, especially during the International Reception. It is indeed the perfect chance to meet a ton of new people, fight homesickness and get to know Stockholm and KTH. I 100% assure you won’t regret it, even if you’re an introvert!

What’s more, during the reception you will get to know your Buddy, a second-year student to whom you will be able to ask for help and any kind of question for your first days in Sweden.

Lastly, on August 23 a huge event will take place at KTH Main Campus: the Campus Fair! Here, you will have the chance to visit different stands representing the various THS associations, you will get the chance to talk to their members and discover everything you can do at KTH!
