Strategic research initatives

KTH:s strategic research initiatives  mobilize efforts around strategically important areas, where the link to societal development and its needs is clear. These bring together KTH researchers in new collaborations, either in an existing research area or by developing a new one.

The Department of Chemistry coordinates two strategic research initiatives: ElectroLight  and SUPREME . The department is also involved in the initiative POLARIS.
