Department of Communication Systems
The Department of Communication Systems (COS) focuses on education and research in the communication systems area in its widest sense. This includes, but is not limited to: technical and sustainability aspects of wireless and wired communication systems, as well as services such as high-speed data transfer, internet-of-things, sensing, localization, and intelligence at the edge. The technology focus lies on the antenna, physical, and Media Access and Control (MAC) layers as well as on implementation aspects across all layers.
