About the division

The Division of Communication Systems (CoS) focuses on education and research in the communication systems area in its widest sense. This includes, but is not limited to: technical and economic aspects of wireless, wired and optical communication systems and services, fixed and mobile communication systems, and communication related services, artifacts, applications and usage. The research activities cover technology concepts and implementation aspects of all layers, with particular focus on the physical layer, Media Access and Control (MAC), and network architectures.

The division consists of faculty, researchers and doctoral students who work together to create future solutions in communication systems. The division also teaches courses on bachelor, master and doctoral level.
