Doctoral courses

Available mandatory and optional doctoral courses when studying a doctorate at INDEK
Doctoral courses
Doctoralcourses are preferably taken at the department of Industrial economics and management, but corresponding courses can also be taken at another department at KTH or at another institution of higher education (however, this must be approved in advance by the supervisor and program manager).
Mandatory courses
Optional courses
There is a high degree of flexibility in determining the optional courses (30 cr for doctorates, 12 cr for licentiates) that are included in the education. The exact course syllabus will be specified in consultation with the supervisor and will then be established in the study plan.
In addition to the mandatory courses, INDEK offers the following optional courses:
- Managing the Innovation Process from the Research Perspective 5.0 cr
- Econometrics 7.5 cr
- Classics in Industrial Management 7.5 cr
- Readings in Industrial management 7.5 cr
- Advanced quantitative methods in entrepreneurship and innovation research 5.0 cr
- Reflexive and critical perspectives on sustainability transitions 3.0 cr
