The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health
The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health is one of KTH’s five schools, whose profile spans the broader domains of health, environment, materials and energy.
Our research and education have great potential for addressing global societal challenges such as sustainable energy, health and aging populations, a sustainable working life, climate change, sustainable production and clean water.
The School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health consists of eight departments, and over 850 co-workers. It is represented in four strategically important locations in the Stockholm area – centrally at KTH Campus at Valhallavägen, at AlbaNova University Center close to physics departments at both Stockholm University and KTH, in the medical technology hub Campus Flemingsberg, and at the national research center SciLifeLab and the Karolinska Institute in Solna.
