Abstract

In this 50% seminar four studies will be presented and future research directions will be discussed. The four studies are:

STUDY 1
MUMI : Multi-agent Multimodal Interaction: Spatial Attention in Haptic and Auditory Simulation
Investigation of multimodal effects on attention through interactive sonification, using 3D haptics and eye tracking.

STUDY 2
DANCE: Dancing in the Dark
Interactive sonification of gestures captured by a motion capture system.

STUDY 3
Sound Forest / Ljudskogen
Design of a haptic floor for a large-scale Digital Musical Instrument (DMI).

STUDY 4
SONAO: Robust Non-verbal Expression in Artificial Agents: Identification and Modeling of Stylized Gesture and Sound Cues
Sonification of movements of a humanoid robot.
