In connection with the PhD-defense for Rebekah Cupitt we are holding a roundtable seminar at MID, CSC. The faculty opponent along with members of the evaluation committee have agreed to share some observations and thoughts in relation to their current research agendas. The roundtable will address a wide variety of topics, mirroring the diversity of disciplinary perspectives represented in the committee and the opponent, from anthropology and deaf studies, to science and technology studies, communication studies, and design. The format of the roundtable will be an informal talk based on the suggestions made by the participants.
