Scientific discussion will slowly but surely die out should ever more researchers choose to publish their work in the journals Nature and Science. The focus of these two publications on sensation and high news value suffocates a serious discussion on the advances made by the research. This is the warning of John Ågren, Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
