Swedish for Teaching in Higher Education
This course is for you who already teach in Swedish or aim to start teaching in Swedish. You already have good knowledge of Swedish but wish to develop the language in different types of communication with students.
During the course, you will reflect on and practise the language used in teaching situations within your discipline at KTH. The focus of the course is on the spoken language, and in addition to practicing different teaching situations, you will also individual help to improve your Swedish pronunciation. You will also work with the written language in instructions, tests, quizzes, assignments, course memos, etc.
Visits to colleagues' classes, lectures or seminars can be included as part of the course for those participants who wish.
The course has a total of five seminars that take place at KTH campus. Between the seminars you are expected to work with home assignments.
