Housing for relocating academic staff
As part of the relocation services KTH Housing offer accommodation for international academic staff, including doctoral students, coming from abroad to KTH.

Our services and conditions
KTH Housing administer a limited number of accommodations that we offer to international academic staff relocating to Stockholm. Allocation is dependent on availability, which sometimes mean that not all applicants can receive an offer. We cannot take requests for certain types of housing or locations, but allocate housing according to what we have available when you register, when you arrive, and what your family situation is. When there is availability, offers are limited to one per applicant and it is accepted via your pages in Mobility Online. Another option is to decline and look for housing on your own. We do not have waiting lists, and we do not change offers unless a family situation changes.
If you reject our offer due to no residence permit or travel complications, please indicate that on your rejection. You are welcome to contact us again by e-mail in the future, and we can activate your application and give you a new offer when there is availability. In general, if you are uncertain about your arrival or your permit, we recommend contacting us when it is a bit more certain and applying for housing then.
Our apartments
KTH Housing have accommodations located in Stockholm, most of them on KTH Campus. These are furnished apartments, and are either studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, or two-bedroom apartments, for larger families. They can be leased for a maximum of one year, i.e. for the first year you are in Sweden. Not all offers are for a full year. The duration of a contract is dependent on availability. Pets and smoking are not allowed in any of our housing.
