Together with Martin Lorentzon, Daniel Ek co-founded Spotify in 2006. With a 27 billion dollar IPO 12 years later the company stand as one of Sweden’s star unicorns.

Ek clearly has great experience with entrepreneurship at a young age, starting his first company in his early teens and founding Spotify at the age of 23. Daniel Ek also stand as one of the two donors of the newly established KTH Innovation Award, together with KTH Professor Mathias Uhlén.

In connection with the first recipient of the award soon to be announced, Daniels lecture will be followed by a discussion with Lisa Ericsson, Head of KTH Innovation and CEO of KTH Holding.

This is an event for students, researchers and employees at KTH.
