  • Energy efficiency - the focus of an EU network of excellence

    A new European Network takes up the challenge of increasing the energy efficiency in photonic applications. Gathering nanophotonic experts in Europe this network clusters nine different institutions in six European countries and comprises of 130 scientists, engineers, technicians and managers in nanophotonics. They are going to focus on energy efficient light harvesting (e.g. solar cells) and light generation (e.g. light emitting diodes). Srinivasan Anand is the partner coordinator for KTH.

  • KTH participates in a Nordic project on a new type of solar cell

    A Nordic research project – NANORDSUN – is developing a new type of solar cell based on semiconductor nanowires. The consortium consists of academic and industrial partners located in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Associate Professor Srinivasan Anand is the partner coordinator for KTH.

  • Forskningsområden inom Lärande på KTH

    Institutionen har samlat forskning kring lärande i STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) och digitalt lärande för att kunna ta ett helhetsgrepp på forskning i lärande på alla nivåer, från förskolan till högskolan. Aktuella forskningsområden och grupper är digitalt lärande, global kompetens, ingenjörsutbildning i samhället, studier i den högre utbildningens organisering (forskargruppen HEOS) och teknikens och naturvetenskapens didaktik.
