Building a cashless society – new book from Niklas Arvidsson

Published Feb 22, 2019

Niklas Arvidsson at the unit Sustainability and industrial dynamics at INDEK has released a new book.

The book builds on research from INDEK and takes a historical perspective to explain how Sweden developed into a situation where cash is a marginal service in the payment system, and which implications this has on people and organizations.

The book also provides perspectives that often are not listened to like how homeless people, churches and elderly see this development.

Niklas aim has been to write an entertaining and informative story about this paradigmatic transformation.
