Debate on cash

Governor of the Riksbank Stefan Ingves wrote in Dagens Nyheter on March 16 that banks should supply cash handling services. Niklas Arvidsson (INDEK/KTH) and Jonas Hedman (CBS) wrote a reply arguing that it would be better with an innovation-oriented approach that stimulates innovative payment services substituting the function of cash rather than stimulating increased use of cash.
