SSES best in the world in interdisciplinary entrepreneurship

Published Oct 28, 2013

SSES has been awarded the prestigious Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) Award for Exceptional

Activities in entrepreneurship across disciplines. It's the very first time for a European organisation to receive

the honour!

Awarded annually, the GCEC Awards recognise unique achievements and outstanding contribution to entrepreneurship education, innovation and research.
The award ceremony took place on Friday in Kansas City and Nick Kaye, Executive Director of  SSES  was present to accept the award.
- When SSES was founded 15 years ago few Swedish students were dreaming of becoming entrepreneurs.
Today the picture is much different.
This award is not only a symbol of our hard work but also a sign of Swedish students growing interest in entrepreneurship, says Nick Kaye.
