About the unit of Sustainability, Industrial Dynamics and Entrepreneurship

The unit of Sustainability, Industrial Dynamics and Entrepreneurship (SIDE) broadly works in the fields of sustainability transitions, industrial and technical transformations, energy management, entrepreneurship and industrial marketing.

The unit is central to INDEK’s vision of educating engineers and conducting research in the wider field of industrial economics and management.

The unit offers postgraduate and undergraduate courses in industrial and technical transformations, innovation management, energy transformations, entrepreneurship, industrial marketing and many more.

Research is performed within areas related to technological and industrial changes where the focus is on innovations, creativity, entrepreneurship and management problems relating to transformations, including with a focus on eco-innovations, climate change mitigation strategies, transition towards sustainable energy technologies, business models, industrial buying behavior, brand strategies, e-commerce, fintech and e-government.

The unit has a strong international research environment and the aim is to hold a leading position, both nationally and internationally.
