Division of Information Science and Engineering
The Division of Information Science and Engineering was founded in 2017. Historically, our roots are in the former KTH divisions of Communication Theory, Signal Processing, Sound and Image Processing and Tele Transmission Theory.
We conduct research, education, and industry/society interplay within digital communication and networking, signal processing and data sensing, multimedia processing, and the utilization of stored and real-time data for information extraction and predictions.
The division is part of the Department of Intelligent Systems at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
