IEEE Graduate Fellowship given to Nutapong Somjit from MST

Nutapong Somjit, a PhD student at Microsystem Technology Lab, advised by Assoc. Prof. Joachim Oberhammer and Prof. Göran Stemme, received a 2010 IEEE Graduate Fellowship from IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, for his research work in novel RF MEMS phase shifters.

The fellowship will be given during the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS2010), May 23-28, in Anaheim, CA, USA. The objective of the IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship program is to encourage the future leaders and key technical contributors in the microwave engineering field. Graduate Fellowships are in the amount of $6000 plus the travel grant for joining the International Microwave Symposium.
