
Postdoc in vehicle dynamics and active control of rail vehicles

Job description
The work involves simulations of the dynamic vehicle-track interaction for various types of rail vehicles. The Postdoctoral researcher is also expected to develop mechatronic concepts for rail vehicles and implement these ideas as simulation models to validate the concepts. The projects you will work on may be funded by the large EU-Rail research program or directly funded by the rail vehicle industry.
The Postdoctoral researcher is also expected to play a leading role in the further development of the research group’s mechatronic Roller-Rig for vehicle dynamic studies.
The Postdoctoral researcher will, to a certain extent, be involved in supervising doctoral students or degree project students, as well as in our undergraduate teaching.

Requirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- Previous experience in research on mechatronics of rail vehicles.
- Research expertise

Preferred qualifications
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
- Previous experience in the design of a Roller Rig.

About the employment
