KTH Royal Institute of Technology, School of Engineering Sciences

Job description

The AICell Lab (https://aicell.io) in the department of Applied Physics at KTH and Science for Life Laboratory is a research group funded by the Data-driven Life Science Fellows (DDLS) program. Led by Wei Ouyang, the group builds next-generation AI systems for cell and molecular biology. Data-driven Life Science Fellows program

AlphaCell is a new SciLifeLab initiative aimed at building the first molecular-level computational model of the human cell. The program is led by Jan Ellenberg (Director of SciLifeLab) and Mathias Uhlén (Director of the Human Protein Atlas), together with a collaborative, multi-institutional constellation of SciLifeLab researchers and infrastructure units.

The AlphaCell program is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher in AI modeling. The position will be embedded in the AICell Lab at KTH and SciLifeLab. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Avlant Nilsson's cancer cell modeling lab at Karolinska Institutet and SciLifeLab, and with the data team at the Human Protein Atlas.
