Lean in Swedish stores

Lean has been introduced in many different branches. Also, it has been reported that the consequences for the working environment differ. There are only few applications of Lean in Swedish stores. The project aims to carry out an interactive research project in collaboration between  researchers and stakeholders in stores. A literarure review will be performed, focusing on research results and experiences from Lean implementations in stores. In the second stage, 10 shops in which Lean inspired changes have been implemented will be visited in order to document and spread experiences from these implementations. In the third stage applications and work methods will be developed based on experiences obtained in the project and the development plans in the participating organisations. Finally, the results will be described, documented and  disseminated through different types of information channels.
