Most people don’t know that MATLAB originally developed in 1984 as a tool to help students solve control theory problems. At the time MATLAB had 80 functions and no toolboxes, today MATLAB has about 8000 functions and close to 100 toolboxes… A lot has happened since 1984 and today MATLAB is one of the most widely used tools in education as well as the industry.
