Responsible Development of the Arctic: Opportunities and Challenges - Pathways to Action

Researchers from various universities (and disciplines) in the Nordic countries will take part in a workshop preparing a funding application to Nordforsk for a Centre of Excellence in Arctic research which our division is leading (info on the call here ). The title of our proposal is “Resources, Extractive Industries and Sustainable Arctic Communities (REXSAC)” and the objective is to study the growth, decline and afterlife of resource extraction in the Arctic with a focus on how to attain sustainable Arctic communities.
