New book chapter: Sven Ove Hansson, "Technology as a practical art", ss. 63-81 Marten Franssen et al (eds) Philosophy of Technology after the Empirical Turn, Springer. The chapter describes the modern technology-concept originating in the ancient concept of "practical arts", and suggests that the earlier, broader concept can be useful for the philosophy of technology.
