About me
Aksel is a doctoral student at the departement of Media Technology and Interaction Design at the school of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a member of the Sustainable Futures Lab. He has an interdisciplinary background in Interaction Design, Sustainability as well as Environmental Psychology. In his research, Aksel investigates ways to support action on climate change from the middle-out using design and action research methodology. Aksels current research focus on the troubling of environmental data such as CO2 emissions from academic flying through low-tech materialisation and physicalisation as a means to facilitate reflection, discussion and action towards more sustainable practices in a social setting.
