My research focuses on sustainable heating and cooling systems, with particular interests in thermal energy storage, geothermal heating and cooling, and phase change materials. More broadly, I am interested in improving the efficiency, flexibility, and environmental sustainability of building energy systems.
In my work, I combine technical analysis with life-cycle and economic perspectives to better understand the real-world potential of energy storage solutions in buildings and energy systems. I am particularly interested in bridging system performance, environmental impact, and economic feasibility, so that low-carbon solutions can be evaluated not only for how they perform, but also for how they can be implemented in practice.
I am also involved in department duties as a teaching assistant for the KTH master’s course MJ2386 Energy Storage Technology and Erasmus Mundus Joint Master DENSYS.
