About me
I am Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management (INDEK) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. I hold a PhD in Economics (2013) and a Docent in Economics (2023) from Stockholm University. Prior to my current role, I was a Wallander Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stockholm School of Economics and a Senior Researcher at IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute. My background combines public and private sector experience with a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University (1995), and higher education in economics .
I am driven to understand how our world works and what we can do to make it a better place. In my research, I develop theory to study the interplay between the environment, policy, and corporations. Most of my research focuses on the intersection of International Economics, Environmental Economics, and Finance. Methodologically, I apply empirical and theoretical methods to test competing hypotheses.
