About me
I'm a PhD candidate and a critical design researcher at EECS / MID focusing on sustainability and ethics of Creative AI/AI arts, with a background in Human-Computer Interaction and Design for Change/Visual Arts. My dissertation topic is "More-than-Human Re-Imaginaries of Creative AI: Ontological and Aesthetic Re-Designings" (2026), in which I examine how we can re-imagine how we approach the design of Creative AI with environmental posthumanities commitments.
My recent research work has encompassed more-than-human inquiries on AI arts, such as envisioning nonhuman data ethics for Creative AI, studying current socio-technical imaginaries, aiming to understand the values that get embedded into the design of Creative AI technologies, engaging with speculation, fabulations, and critical more-than-human design of Creative AI.
I'm part of the Creative Media Technology (CMT), and funded by WASP-HS (2021-26).
I'm actively supervising Master theses in Creative AI + AI art, see the available projects here.
