Sichao Liu

Sichao Liu is a Research Fellow of the Swedish Research Council - Vetenskapsrådet which grants him a three-year international fund (2023-2026). Together with his advisor Professor Lihui Wang at KTH, he works as a project manager (PI) to lead a project focused on neuroengineering and brain science, brain-robot interface, AI4Robotics, and robot control at the University of Cambridge (UK) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland), respectively. He also worked as a Scientist of robotics+AI+control at ABB Corporate Research Centre in Sweden. Before joining ABB, he holds a Doctoral degree in AI for Robotics (2022), a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science (2017), and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics (2014). He mainly focuses on Neuroengineering, Vision AI/AI4Robotics, Large language models, Autonomous robot systems (AMR), and Foundation models.
