Zan Yang

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction Management. My academic work primarily focuses on the quantitative analysis of real estate economics. This encompasses the dynamics of housing prices, household housing consumption, mortgage decision-making processes, housing affordability, and aging in place and aging communities.

Recently, I am also working on two areas: the impact of climate change on the real estate market, and the transformative influence of the digital economy on real estate and urban development. My study aims to provide empirical and theoretical research that informs and supports both macro-level policy-making and micro-level individual decisions, especially in an era marked by rapid environmental and technological changes.
