Examination

The course has three graded assessment activities related to these ILOs: two individual literature tests and one group activity consisting of leading one of the six seminars. To pass the course, the student must receive at least an "E" on each assessment activity, which is equivalent to achieving at least 50% of the total marks.

Two Individual Literature Tests:

The students' individual contribution will be evaluated based on two mini exams related to the literature covered in class, each will contribute to 40% of the final grade

  • Literature Test 1 will cover articles from Seminars 1 - 3
  • Literature Test 2 will cover articles from Seminars 4 - 6

The tests will not cover every article discussed in the seminars and more details on the specific articles selected for the tests will be provided during the course.

Group Assignment (Seminar Presentation):

Each group will be asked to lead one of the six seminars during which they will present an article from the literature list and relate it to a current topic to improve the understanding of the seminar theme and involve the class. This will account for 20% of the final grade
