Guest lecturer: Dr Damian Murphy, University of York

Marcus Wrangö will introduce us to Audiorama (link), a sound-only "cinema" audition space with a 21-speaker rig, and Damian Murphy will give his lecture on advanced spatial audio here. Audiorama is on the north side of Skeppsholmen and it takes about 45 minutes of T-bana and walk to get there from KTH. Don't count on being back at KTH before 16.00. But it's worth it!

Lars Jonsson, technical strategist, and Paul Nygren, former KTH student, both at Sveriges Radio, will talk about audio in broadcasting - current trends and technologies.

Assignment work presentations, 20 minutes per group. Handout of home exam. Course conclusion. Continues after lunch if necessary.
