Course concept

The concept of this course is that it is centered around problems. Student will be given a new problem each week that is solved individually or in group. The necessary knoweldge for solving a problem is taught by means of an interactive e-book that combines text, recorded learning units, self-study problems and remote laboratory exercises to name a few. Each problem is discussed in class and analyzed from different angles such as to build a solid base for continued studies in this field. By means of laboratory exercises, students apply their knowledge on real test data and learn how to interpret results beyond generic problems.
