This course is designed for those who are interested in working with biological objects, such as cultured animal cells. The aim of the course is to provide you with knowledge necessary for running experiments on living cells and to give you basic practical skills of cell culture.
The course has unfortunately a limit on the number of participants, since we have a limited number of working stations in the cell culture room. Please don´t register for the course unless you are absolutely sure that you want to attend it.

For better understanding of the course material one should preferably have some background in biology/biomedicine. One could for example take the course SK2530 Introduction to Biomedicine or SK2531 Biomedicine for Engineers. However, this is only recommendation, not a requirement.
