This is the course page for the online graduate course on Information Theoretic Security (Swedish: Informationsteoretisk säkerhet). The course is an advanced graduate course worth 8hp and focus on physical layer security. The responsible teacher is Tobias Oechtering.

With a growing interconnection of systems and information exchanges, it is widely seen that the need of security and privacy technology is increasing more and more in future. Thus, a fundamental understanding of the basic mechanisms and limits is relevant for PhD studies in this area.

In this course a rigorous introduction into various related themes using advanced information theoretic techniques can be learned. Themes covered in this course include: Introduction on security, wiretap channel, strong secrecy, secure multi-user communication, key-agreement, secure source coding, and authentication. The lectures for each theme are taught by different teachers who are experts in the corresponding area.
