Course selection

As an exchange student you have to take at least 50% of your courses from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). All courses with a course code that starts with an “D, E and I” belong to School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. 30 credits represent full time studies at KTH. Courses in Swedish language and/or society can be excluded from the 30 ECTS credit maximum.

To find the timetable for the courses you are taking at KTH, please visit the Schedule Search. Please note that the schedules of the courses may collide, so it is wise to check their schedule before you decide on which courses to take. Some collisions may be manageable, but to what degree is for you to decide for yourself. If you take courses from one programme only, the courses are however usually separated.

Swedish language Courses

We offer language courses in Swedish with no fee for our exchange students. The courses during the semesters are taught at the main campus every second week. You can find more information about the Swedish courses here.
