Information in Swedish / Information på svenska

Here follows some information about the thesis, for first cycle students, bachelor students. The same process applies to the advanced level, civil engineer students, master students and others.

In the folder "Documents", you find information regarding theses for bachelor and master's work, both in Swedish and English. Read the information concerning the degree project you will carry out.

No matter the degree project, a project proposal*) shall be written and submitted. Templates for project proposals (also known as Project Plan) are available in the documents folder. The templates are in Swedish and English and has the same content, that is, regardless of language and degree, bachelor's or master's degree.

*) The project proposals are used to match and sometimes assign examiner to the degree project, and the examiner pinpoints the supervisor. The proposals are also designed to assess the degree project type and scope. Thus, the project proposals work as a basis for discussion. Even if a project is missing, it is possible to match and/or assign an examiner (which assigns supervisor), so, therefore, all students shall submit a project proposal. In these cases, allocation is made from the areas of interest.

Fill in the project proposal, based on the information available currently. If there is uncertainties with the degree project, write it in the project proposal.

Also the registration form for the degree project must be completed and submitted. The form is available and can be downloaded via the website: Form. The filled-in form must be submitted to the student counselors, which will confirm the number of credits obtained (ECTS). The student counselors/ administrators stamps form. A digital copy of the stamped registration form must be submitted together with the project proposal.

Submit the project proposal and the registration form by uploading the files in a, so called, activity (or submission) in Canvas. Choose the one activity that best matches the degree program. Note, choose only one activity and submit only one project proposal per degree. In the case of bachelor work, choose an activity with names containing (first level / first cycle) - in the first part of the activity list.

As for the master's work, select the activity that contains (advanced level) - the other part of activities in the activity list.
