Students have to write technical documents during their studies, especially as part of their degree project (both bachelor and master level). The ICT school in Kista offers a three-lecture course in LaTeX targeted at students, in particular those who are about to do their degree project.
LaTeX is the de-facto standard for academic and/or scientific writing. It is (like HTML and friends) a markup language focusing on the structure and content of a document. Most students (if not all) will have read textbooks typeset with LaTeX.
The lectures will be given by Alexandre Labrosse, an exchange student from École polytechnique Paris who is a LaTeX enthusiast!
