CHO cell factory

The aim of the KTH CHO cell factory group is to develop high throughput technologies allowing for rapid generation of CHO protein cell factories. In particular the development is focused on methods for rapid construction of expression vectors and reporter systems for fluorescent means of detecting secreted proteins.

Group members

  • Johan Rockberg, Co-PI, PhD
  • Magnus Lundqvist, PhD student

Ongoing projects

  • Split-GFP based droplet sorting of antibody CHO cell factories
  • Super split-GFP – a superior split GFP for faster detection
  • Fluorescent on/off tagging of CHO protein factories
  • Transcription factor specific antibody reagents
