Educational Power Lab
Facilitate power laboratory exercises with seven groups (usually pairs) of students working with fundamentals of power system equipment and components at undergraduate level to master student courses dealing with power electronics and machines. The laboratory can be used for benchtop tests of small vehicle drivetrains.
Equipment and instrumentation
Seven lab benches with AC/DC machine pairs and access to fixed and variable power supplies. Various power electronic converters (voltage source converter, thyristor converters, DC/DC converters) and their control is available. All necessary instrumentation for student labs, multimeters, oscilloscopes, current and voltage probes etc.
