Flexible lab power supply platform
The range and types of supplies available with the power supply platform provide a unique facility for high power tests of power electronics, machines and drives and individual components. The convenience of being able to connect or combine supplies means that high power experiments and test can be connected quickly and safely.
Equipment and instrumentation
The flexible lab power supply platform spans two levels of the building in Teknikringen 33. Six rotating DC supplies for 15V – 700V can supply up to 75kW. Six rotating AC supplies allow for high power high frequency supply. Four induction regulators providing variable AC supply up to 50kVA. A 200kW static 4-quadrant SAMI STAR converter. Coupling matrix allowing virtually any supply to be patched to any other location in the lab.
