Do you have questions about contract education in architecture and the built environment?

What is contract education?

Contract education is a very important part of the university's third stream activities - collaboration with and transfer of knowledge to the surrounding society. Contract education means that the employer pays for the employee's skills development. This can be done through:

  • Place of assignment - the employer pays for each employee's participation (subject to availability) in a course in the existing course programme,
  • Open course/training - in case of general external demand and if the organisation has the capacity, an additional course is created open for registration by participants from different organisations,
  • Customised training - the training is tailored and adapted to the client's needs.

Contract education can be ordered/purchased by legal companies, not by private individuals/individual firms.
