For the student
When your student thesis has been approved it is registered in DiVA. This means that your work:
- Will be findable
- You get a persistent link which you can use in your CV or for when you apply for a job
- Open access increases the dissemination of your thesis
You do not register the thesis yourself, it is done by an administrator at your school. Talk with your supervisor or the student office if you have questions or if you want to make corrections.
For the administrator
According to KTH’s administrative decision, all approved degree projects must be registered in DiVA by the schools’ administrators. This has been in effect since 2018 and ensures that KTH’s degree projects are visible and accessible in both internal and external search services.
