Yes, teaching and research collaborations with externals does leave footprints in society, but with a few tricks you can increase your impact significantly. This workshop will give you a more structured view on improving impact, provide you with some simple tips, and guide you - hands-on! - in communicating your own research. Remember: Your research’s impact is your contribution to a brighter tomorrow.

About the speaker:

Researcher Wouter van der Winjgaard, professor in micro and nanosystems, at the EECS school is passionate and successful in spreading his research result. He regularly does courses in impact and communication to his doctorial students.

Wouter has published more than 160 internationally peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. His publications have more than 4000 citations and he has an h-index of 29 according to Google.
